Mike brings years of first-hand experience across Tanzania's most iconic ecosystems. He grew up near Arusha and has traveled every dirt road in the Greater Serengeti Ecosystem. Mike holds a Bachelor of Tourism degree from Sokoine University. He lives in Tengeru with three children and his wife Anah. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of local wildlife, Maasai culture, and field sites is unmatched.

Rich ensures that even deep in the Serengeti, every meal is a celebration of Tanzanian ingredients and hospitality. Full breakfast, packed lunches, and hot dinners--prepared fresh in camp each day. His cooking is simply magical. When he isn't on safari, he is building his own home and farm in Mto Wa Mbu.

Brett holds a PhD in ecology and designs comprehensive educational curricula spanning geology, evolutionary biology, ecology, paleoanthropology, landscape geography, and African ecology. He serves as both the scientific backbone and logistical coordinator for every expedition. He lives in the Netherlands with his son, River, and wife, Paige.
